Lynn Toennessen Corriveau, 96, passed away peacefully at Door County Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 7th, 2026. Lynn was a longtime resident of Wauwatosa and Baileys Harbor, WI. She was predeceased by her husband Ward Corriveau (2000), her son Joseph (Kay) Corriveau (2024), and granddaughter Jessica Fenk (2024). She is survived by daughter Anne (Dan) Kratz, sons John (Mary) Corriveau, and Charles along with a large extended family including grandchildren Ryan, Sarah and Kimberly, and great grandchildren Baron, Judah, Xander, Abby, and Sophie.
Lynn graduated from Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee and earned an undergraduate & Reading Specialist Certificate in Education from the Milwaukee Teachers College (UWM). Lynn & Ward were parishioners for over 50 years at Christ King Parish in Wauwatosa and St. Mary’s in Baileys Harbor (Stella Maris) for over 60 years.
The family would like to thank Door County Memorial and Unity Hospice for the excellent care given to Lynn in her final hours. A special thank you also to the entire staff at Serenity Springs Nursing Care facility in Sister Bay for their devoted care of the years Lynn lived there.
Visitation will be at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W North Avenue in Wauwatosa from 3-5pm on Friday, June 12th, 2026. A funeral mass celebrating Lynn’s long life will be celebrated at Christ King Catholic Church in Wauwatosa beginning at 10:30am on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, burial to follow. Memorials may be made in Lynn’s name to Christ King Parish, Froedtert Hospital, the Milwaukee Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Lynn loved a good party and will be remembered as a woman that enjoyed bringing people together. Lynn, we Salute you and Rooty Toot you.
