Gloria J. Lokken
December 8, 1932 - June 7, 2026

Gloria J. Lokken, age 93, of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Vista Pointe Assisted Living in Menomonee Falls.

Born in Cambridge, Wisconsin, to Garvin and Lydia Wallace, Gloria graduated from Cambridge High School. There she met her high school sweetheart, Romain Lokken, and they married on August 1, 1953.

The couple began their life together in Janesville, Wisconsin, where they welcomed four children. In 1963, they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and purchased a home, where they had their fifth child. Gloria remained in that home for over 60 years before moving to Vista Pointe Assisted Living in 2024.

Gloria worked as a paraprofessional for Milwaukee Public Schools for over 30 years, dedicating herself to teaching and supporting deaf children — a role she truly loved and found deeply rewarding. She and her husband Romain were also actively involved for many years at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee, faithfully serving together in the Food Pantry ministry.

She is survived by her children: Randy (Brenda) Lokken of Minnetonka, Minnesota; Jody Lokken of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Tim Lokken of St. Francis, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her grandsons, Zachary, Garrett (Kat), and Spencer (Lorvy). She was preceded in death by her husband, Romain Lokken, and her sons, Todd Lokken and Peter Lokken.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051). Visitation will begin at 11:00AM, with the service beginning at noon and a light lunch to follow. Burial will take place the following day on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Cambridge, Wisconsin, at 11:00 AM.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff and workers at Vista Pointe Assisted Living for their loving care and support.
