Found peace on August 20, 2026, at the age of 75.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her life's greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Selfless, loving, and caring, she devoted her life to nurturing children as a daycare owner and foster mother, offering each child warmth, comfort, and a place in her heart. Affectionately known as the "fun grandma," she filled her family's lives with laughter, love, and treasured memories. She was especially proud of her grandson, Brayden, for entering the Army National Guard and would have loved celebrating his graduation from basic training, cheering him on with all the pride and joy she carried in her heart.

Loving mother of Patrick (Barb) Kaczmarek, Tricia (Dave) Kertscher, and Timothy Gordon. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Jesse, Nate, Jason, Faith, and Brayden. Great-grandmother of Peyton, Logan, Wyatt, Ava, and Abigail. Sister and best friend of Karen (Gene) Melms. She is also survived by her beloved cat Jasper. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Patricia Armstrong, her sister Debbie Firzlaff, and brother David Armstrong.
