I was fortunate to have “Kate” as a teacher for a couple years at Oakfield High School. She was always such a positive person and a good role model for the teenage girls. Back then, she didn’t like to be called Miss Williams - she preferred “Kate” so that is what we called her. We all have fond memories of her time at Oakfield and later when she attended our class reunions. My sympathy to her family - she will be missed.
