WAUWATOSA
(Nee Ullrich) was raised up to our heavenly Father on September 14, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Jane was a loving wife for 39 years to the late Robert Foxgrover.
Jane was born in Milwaukee on December 30, 1927 to the late Anthony and late Clara Ullrich.
Dear mother of the late Kathleen Foxgrover, Nancy (Dr. Thomas) Fleischmann, David (Mary) Foxgrover, Patrice (Dr. Richard) Chang, Brian Foxgrover, Mary (David) Tarman, and Carolynn (Brian) Foxgrover-Foley. Loving grandmother of Mark (late Ana) Fleischmann, Dr. Carl (Nikki) Fleischmann, George (Kim) Fleischmann, Dr. Kirsten (James) Chang-Moore, Anthony (Jessica) Chang, Andrew Chang, Samuel Tarman, Robert (Mary Ann) Klar-Foxgrover-Foley, and Carly (Eric) Bedard; great grandmother to Lincoln, Kennedy, Brooke, Blair, Joseph, and Amelia. She is also survived by her twin sister June (late Rod) Lanser and sister Elaine (late Robert) Zale.
Jane and Robert resided in Wauwatosa in the home built by her father. They were active members of St Joseph parish in Wauwatosa from the very beginning of the parish existence in Wauwatosa. Jane was an active member in the Go-Getters, fish fries, rummage sale, and Christian Women. She was part of the Layette program that made quilts for babies for the Christ Child Society. She loved to knit Afghans. Jane worked for Kohl’s for over 25 years. Jane and Bob lost their first baby, Kathleen, who was born prematurely. Jane is now able to hold her Kathleen for the first time.
Visitation Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. Visitation continues Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 10:00 am until mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12130 W. Center Street, Wauwatosa. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
