To know Dee was to love Dee!

Deidre Daley was born on December 22, 1965. She was the sweet and loving daughter of the late George and Ave Daley.

Dee was a beautiful, magical mix of many endearing qualities. Sweet, sassy, loving, affectionate, creative, and strong-willed are all words that best describe her.

She loved bracelets, coloring, music, food, and getting her nails done. She immensely enjoyed many wonderful trips and outings throughout the years with Going Beyond Travel, run by Pam and Monty Hunt. She also always looked forward to her day program at Curative in Wauwatosa, which provided her with structure, creativity, and companionship. Dee loved life and was fortunate to have a rich and full one.

Those lucky enough to call Deidre sister are Ave (Mick) Casale, Michael, Erin, Patrick (Adriane), the late Kevin (Annie), Shannon (William) Smith, Megan (Mark) Benes, Brigit (Michael) Mosher, and Sean.

She was a gift to her nieces and nephews; Ave (Jared) Jones, Nicholas, Colleen (Nicholas Olson), Scott, George, Sam Benes, and Carolyn Smith.

Much appreciation to Nicolette Lindstrom and Michelle Weed from Best Care Homes for providing a safe and pleasant home for Dee to reside at. A very special thank you to Tonya Nash who always went above and beyond for Dee and showered her with love and care.

The family would also like to thank the MRICU, 8th floor, at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital who always took tremendous care of Deidre during her extensive hospital stays. She could not have asked for a more professional and compassionate team. Dee was always treated with dignity, love and respect while being given the best medical care. We will forever be grateful to them.

Deidre left an indelible mark on all who knew and loved her. She leaves the world a better place for having had her in it.

In Dee’s memory, spread a little sunshine today.
