Drew (Andrew) G. Swan, age 24, died in his sleep at his residence in Fort Lauderdale, FL on April 3rd, one week short of his 25th birthday. He leaves behind his dearly loved mom Tamara Swan-Hummert of Milwaukee, WI and father Gregory Swan of West Bloomfield, MI; his beloved brother Jack, medical student at Michigan State; his step-father Jamie Hummert; step-mother Kristine Bonds; his grandparents, Wayne and Judith Rolfs of Fontana WI and Warren G. Swan of Williamsburg, MI; plus grieving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends whose lives he impacted forever by his joy for life and strong Christian faith. Drew graduated from St. Jerome Grade School in Oconomowoc, Arrowhead High School in Hartland and University Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Business. He worked as store manager for Hollister and most recently in the food service industry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to his great love for family, friends and people in general, Drew enjoyed music, cooking, sports, and nature. In his short life he traveled widely including trips to New Zealand, Hawaii, Dominican Republic and Australia where he made a special connection with the people Down Under. Drew’s enthusiasm for living and passionate interest in helping people be their best was infectious. He is the founder of the Progresive Club to encourage young men and women to set goals and purpose to maximize their lives. Friends and family will gather at West Brook Church, 1100 State Highway 83, Hartland, WI to commemorate Drew’s life this Saturday, April 13th . Visitation is from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. followed by the service. Pastor Terry Fulks will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Chapel in memory of Drew Swan, 2401 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33309.
