Entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Wed., June 25, 2014 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle against cancer. Loving and precious husband of Diana (nee Crater). Beloved son of Bill and Alice Nettesheim. Cherished son-in-law of Gilbert and Dorothy Mackey. Dear brother of Terry (Rick) Helman, Colleen (Mark) Hoover, Allan, Dean (Debbie), Kathy (Rick) Boerst, Jill (Paul) Pichler, Lisa (Randy) Heinritz, David (Francine), Gary (Wanda), Nancy (Geno) Kasprzak, Laure (Mark) Schwalbe, Diane (Tony) Nienas and Kari (Jamie) Bloedow. Proud stepfather of Kelly (Robert) Cornett and Papa Glenn to grandchildren Dallas and Ella. Beloved brother-in-law of Jacqueline (Michael) Wells and Richard Crater. Dear step-brother-in-law of Susan Mackey (Ron Snyder), Jerry Mackey,Karen (Ron) Seveska; and Janet (Michael) Driscoll. Preceded in death by his sister Patty, grandparents Lance and Doretta Nettesheim and Clarence and Myra Kannenberg, nephew Jason Adams and sister-in-law Patricia Buirge. Loving nephew of Betty and Douglas Johns and Robert Nettesheim and further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins,other relatives and countless dear friends.
In the words of Glenn's mother and father - "We were blessed and comforted by Glenn's beautiful faith which never waivered as he looked to the Lord with thankfulness for every day and prayed for peace and healing as he said his rosary He was so good to us and to everyone he knew. Glenn's sister Patty passed away 29 years ago and Glenn joined her in heaven on her birthday. On the night of his passing, Glenn was being awarded the Ray Klink President's Award from the Land O'Lakes Baseball Association in recognition for 27 years of playing and managing the Pewaukee Muskies."
Glenn gave 34 years of dedication to his position as Manager of Accounting and Payroll at Milwaukee Transport Services, Inc. and he made many close friends over the years. Glenn treasured his wife, family and friends. He was also a true outdoorsman who loved golfing, hunting and rooting for his Wisconsin Badgers, Brewers and Packers.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 2nd from 3PM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 6 PM at QUEEN OF APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH; N35 W23360 Capitol Dr., Pewaukee, WI. A private burial will take place at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery in Pewaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Judes Children's Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation or charity of your choice.
