Holly I'm so sad to hear about your dad. My prayers are with you and your family.

I was so saddened to hear of your father's passing. I knew your dad's name long before I had the privilege of actually meeting him. My dad, Andy, would talk about V8 car club stuff and it was "George did this" and "George helped with that" and "George built this"... And about 11 years ago I finally got to meet him...Charming, friendly, and extremely warm and easy to talk to! I moved recently and my mom mentioned to him that I had some questions about window treatments and he drove over to my house to check things out and offer his "humble" advice a few weeks later!!!
My family was so lucky to see him at my dad's birthday party this summer since he had been out of the hospital long enough to RSVP saying that he wouldn't dream of missing it! Your dad was one of the neatest, kindest, and most giving people I have ever met... I am so glad I knew him! Thank you for sharing him with my family!

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
