( nee Smith) Of Brown Deer. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 14, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife for 63 years of Tom S. Marker. Loving mother of Jean Marsh and Andy (Vicki) Marker. “Special Mom” to Heidi and Steve Grow. Sister of Janet (George) Schurmann, Gloria (the late Louis) Burk and Jeanne (Bob) Lubbert. Further survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and special friends Karl and Dottie Schimpf.

Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Friday, January 22 from 10:00 AM to the time of Memorial Services at 12:00 Noon. Private interment. Joan recently retired after lovingly devoting 25 years of her time and talent working at North Shore Congregational Church. Joan always had a lovely smile and warm welcome to all members and visitors.
