Fredric George Schneider, 88, of Mequon, WI passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Fred was born in Milwaukee, WI and attended the Country Day School where he was a standout student and athlete. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a BA in Business (1950) where he played for the Badgers basketball team all 4 years. It was at UW that he met the "girl of his dreams" Virginia "Gini" Mackey. Upon graduation, Fred proudly served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Fred was the co-founder of Heath, Schneider, Mueller & Toll Investment Advisors and also taught at the Brookfield Academy. He and Gini were some of the founding members of Eastbrook Church where they worshipped and served for over 35 years.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gini; son Mac (Duhi) and daughters Ana (Pat) Murphy and Amy Schneider, grandchildren Johann (Allison), Shiloh (Brandon), Justin (Hope), Molly (Luke), Marcus (Kaitlyn), Maggie and Dylan. He has two great grandchildren: Ellyana and Stella.
"Big Fred," as he was often called, was a big guy with a big heart and arms that enveloped people when he gave them a hug - which was often. He loved life, he loved people and he loved Jesus.
