Died peacefully at home on September 8th.  Adored mom of Colleen (Mike) Anderson, Melanie (Brad) Bekos, Kevin (Luz) and Kyle Roach.  Doting and proud grandma to Lauren, Tyler, Elliot, Ava, Carly, Jack, Bella, Luis, Dustin and Cielo.  Recipient of bonus kisses and hugs from great-grandson Liam.  Leaves behind her loving sister and best friend, Helen, devoted brother-in-law Tom and dear niece Pam.  Will be deeply missed by many other relatives and friends but held a special place in her heart for lifelong bestie and confidant, Lenore Prussack.

Marta was a woman of amazing warmth and grace.  A gifted cook, avid reader, loyal Packer fan, wicked poker player, inveterate walker and delightful travel companion, she was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She was the heart of a family that loved her beyond measure.

We take great comfort in knowing Marta will be welcomed with open arms by her husband, Robert Emmett, who preceded her in death.

The family will gather and greet friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Sebastian Church, 5400 W. Washington Blvd., Milwaukee from 4PM until the Celebration of Life Mass at 6PM.  Interment will be private.  Memorials suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 620 S. 76th Street. Suite 160.
